The new DAFNE+ Policy Findings (2-Pager) is now available on Zenodo. This document summarises the key legal and governance considerations analysed in WP6, including NFTs, licensing models, intellectual property rights, and the regulatory framework relevant to the DAFNE+ platform.

The report outlines:

  • The distinction between NFTs, the associated digital content, and the underlying intellectual property rights.

  • Current challenges in NFT licensing and the exploration of token-bound licensing models.

  • Regulatory considerations related to the DSA, DGA, CDSM Directive and GDPR.

  • Recommendations to support transparency, legal clarity, and safer user participation in NFT and blockchain-based environments.

The document reflects the work carried out during the project and provides an overview of the main conclusions that guided the platform’s legal and governance approach.
